Independent Complaint Investigation
I worked with The Advocacy Project in Autumn 2021 to provide an independent investigation of a complaint from a service user. The complaint had progressed to board level and I provided a report that investigated the issues raised by the service user in their complaint appeal.
The service user had complex mental health needs and was highly vulnerable. They wanted to work over the phone so I interviewed them a number of times over the phone, gathered evidence for their claims in their appeal and provided a full report and timeline to The Advocacy project Board.
